Kong Wins Rematch in SuperBowl V
Things looked frightenly familiar on this cold Sunday in January.  For the second year in a row, the Strawmakers and the Kong Fanchises made it to the greatest game in the SFFL, SuperBowl V.  And for the second year in a row, the Strawmakers made massive roster moves late in the season to get there.  BUT, there was a difference, and that difference was Kong handily romping the Strawmakers 93-55 to stop any chance for a SuperBowl 3-peat from the Strawmakers.

Both coaches didn't have much to say about the contest, but Kong Owner/Coach Mark Proper emphasized one point.. "Kong Kicked Ass".  Coach Bernie Martinelli had only one regret about the season and the loss.  "I can't believe I sold out my team, Trent Green specifically, to still lose in the Superbowl," Martinelli whined.  It is obvious that Martinelli's late minute trading hurt his team for the long run.

Will we see a third rematch in 2001 for these SFFL powerhouses.  "I think anything is possible in this competitive league," stated Rebel Yell Coach, Mark Saylor.  "These teams seem to dominate the auction, the season, and the playoffs.  I wish they would give other teams a chance now and then."
