The SFFL filled its league for the 2007 with owner Carol Saylor and her
Desperate Housewives. Carol becomes the 3rd female owner in the league.

Laces Out Owner Retires
Matt Herrington announced over the weekend that he will not be back
for the 2007 season. His franchise, the Laces Out, won the 2004 SuperBowl
during his first season as owner.

Minute Men Storm League
The Minute Men will be the new team in the league for the 2006
season. The team will be headed up by Tim Hatch from Las
Vegas. After years of petitioning the SFFL for a franchise,
his dreams have come true.

The date and time for the 2006 Auction have been set - August 27,
2006 at 2pm. The place will be determined at a later date.

Badville Chaunceys Owner Retires
Mike Shapiro today announced his retirement from coaching. In
fact, since the 2005 SFFL season, he has gone cold turkey with all
fantasy sports. Good luck to him.

The open team spots have been filled by one time SFFL owners.
Bernie Martinelli and Drew Ciesielka will once again own teams.
The new teams will be B.A.D. and 4th Down Bombs.

Beer Farts Dissapate
Jerry Teschendorf and the Beer Farts follow the lead of the RZA and
give early notice about leaving the league. This leaves 2 open
spots for new owners.

Red Zone Assassins Leave SFFL
The AP has just reported that Red Zone Assassins' owner, Don
Strausbaugh, has sold the team to an unnamed buyer. The RZA
has been in the league since 2000, and will be sadly missed.

Commissioner Saylor Resigns
During a unannounced press conference, Mark Saylor surprisingly
resigns as commissioner of the SFFL for at least the 2005
season. News out of the Rebel Yell franchise confirms that
Mark will continue to coach the team in 2005.

Last Minute Hurricane
With the sudden retirement of Drew Ciesielka from the SFFL, the team
was sold to Alan Rodick. The name of the franchise was changed
to the Hurricanes. |
